CradleCue Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data from CradleCue and how to request account deletion.

For help, contact: privacy@cradlecue.com

1. Delete Baby Records and Events In-App

Depending on your role permissions, you can delete:

  • Individual events
  • Entire baby profiles
  • Caregiver shares/access

Some deletions are soft-deleted first for sync integrity before permanent cleanup.

2. Delete Local Device Data

You can remove local app data by:

  • Signing out
  • Deleting the app from your device

Note: deleting the app removes local data on that device, but not server data tied to your account.

3. Request Account Deletion

To delete your account and associated server-side personal data:

Email privacy@cradlecue.com from your account email with subject line:

Account Deletion Request - CradleCue

Include:

  • Account email
  • Confirmation that you want account deletion
  • Optional details about shared baby records or collaborator contexts

We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing deletion.

4. Deletion Timing

Typical processing targets:

  • Request acknowledgment: within 5 business days
  • Completion: within 30 days (unless a longer period is required by law)

Limited retained records may remain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup integrity reasons.

Current system behavior includes temporary retention windows for some records, such as:

  • Deleted-event sync tombstones (up to about 90 days)
  • Expiring device tokens and invite metadata

5. Google Account and OAuth Data

If you signed in with Google, deleting your CradleCue account removes CradleCue account-link data associated with your Google identity in our systems, subject to legal and security retention constraints.

You can also manage third-party app access in your Google account settings.
